If you make use of the DTA module you can allocate courses of external providers to users. It is possible that you will not be able to find a provider’s offer. In such case we offer the option of placing a request to a provider who is not (yet) affiliated with us.
In order to make a request, follow these steps:
Choose a user from the user summary and click on 'Assign'.
Click on 'External content' (or the term you use for this) in the dropdown menu.
This takes you to the available content summary. Scroll all the way down until you come to the following notification:
Click on 'Register a course' and fill in all required fields. Note: go through the details with the provider before you make a customised request. If a provider is not aware of the request there is a great chance that the request will be rejected.
As soon as you start entering provider details, the platform will make suggestions. Should it turn out that the desired provider’s offer is really not available, enter the provider details in this field.
Complete the request by entering the remaining information. A pop-up will appear, giving you the option to go directly to the request.
Go through all the details in the request yourself and make adjustments if necessary. If available, link the correct budget and the request can be sent.
Done! The external provider has been informed about the new request. The provider will review the request and when it has been approved, the requester and the user will be contacted.
