How do I set up permissions groups?

To make assigning permissions easier, you can create and set up permissions groups. Adding a (new) manager to this links the accompanying permissions in one go. There are already 5 generic permission groups ready for you to use. These 5 permissions groups are based on the most common set of permissions.


 

You can create a group by clicking on ‘Create a permission groups’ in the top right of the screen. Give the group a name and, if desired, a description. Then make a selection of the desired permissions. 


 

In the tab Managers in the same screen, you can select users to add to a permissions group. 
Click on Create an add manager.  From the drop-down, select the user you want to add to the permission group. 
The user will then receive the desired set of permissions which gives them access to the linked modules in the LMS.
