In order to send an external course request to the provider, you must always select a budget. You can create a new budget and edit existing budgets via 'Digital Learning Intermediary > Manage budgets'. It is also possible to change a budget’s end date if it has already been archived. You can use this option, e.g., if you want to charge ongoing requests submitted in 2022 against a budget from 2022.
