If you only organise an event once, or you have no intention of organising a new session, there is the option to archive the event. You can do this by pressing the archive button. When archiving the event, the learning history is saved on the employee's academy, the learning history in the employee overview in the LMS, the participant list of the event and the reports. Also, participants keep their certificates. You can always unarchive an event, so if you want to make changes to the event, you need to reactivate the event. When users open the event in their academy, they will see an archived event in preview mode. Also, they can't change/update their attendance on an already archived event.
You can archive an internal event either from the events overview or within the event itself.
When you archive the event, it will appear under the "Archived" tab.
NB! If your event still has registered participants for future or current sessions, or when the event is part of a qualification, learning track or trigger, you can't archive the event.
