Micro learnings are (often short) learning items which share certain information. For example, a video explaining a specific process within the organisation or an interesting article of an external party.
You will find all available items under 'Library > Micro learnings' in your learning environment. These can be divided into three different formats, i.e. videos, documents and articles. You can filter by category and the language in which the micro learning is offered on the left-hand side of the page. Via the search function at the top of the page you can search by a specific topic or title of the micro learning.
When you are on the summary page you can easily view a micro learning by clicking on 'More information'. This will be expanded on this page. When you click on the micro learning itself it will be opened in a pop-up screen.
Click on 'Watch video' to play the video. When you click on 'Read' the document or article will be opened in a new tab. After you have read the article or document, you can indicate this yourself by checking the selection box next to 'Completed'. For videos, the video will automatically be switched to ‘Completed’ when you have watched all of it.
It is also possible to leave behind a response by clicking on the tab 'Responses'. You can also tag a colleague so that he or she is informed about this micro learning. This can be handy when you wish, for example, to draw your colleague’s attention to the micro learning. Such notifications will be shown in the bar at the top of your learning environment when you click on the bell. If you have an unread notification, this will also be displayed here.
By clicking on 'View notifications' you will be led to a page with all the responses in which you are tagged.
It is furthermore also possible to review the micro learning via the relevant icons on the left-hand side if the micro learning is displayed in its entirety.
