Exempting persons from specific qualifications

Suppose that a user will not be working for a few months, for example due to a long holiday, a pregnancy or any other reason. You can opt per user to exempt someone from holding a qualification. You can set this exemption with a start and end date, and assign a reason for this exemption. If the user in question goes to his/her personal learning environment, he/she can also see that there is an exemption for the chosen qualification.

When you want to set up the exemption, in the profile of the user in question go into 'Qualifications' and click on the icon 'Update exemption'. The above pop-up screen will appear, in which you can set up the exemption. Bear in mind that the start date of the exemption cannot be in the future.
