How does the waiting list function for events work?

You can find the registration settings under the 'Information' header on the overview page. The waiting list is one of these.

Under 'Waiting list’ you can indicate whether you want to enable the waiting list when the maximum number of participants is reached. When this is disabled, it's not possible for employees to register once the maximum number of participants has been reached.


In the waiting list overview you can suggest a different session to employees, change their position in the waiting list, or remove them from the waiting list. An email with a suggestion will then be sent or they will receive a notification that they have been removed from the waiting list.




Through the "Participants" tab, you can quickly see which participants are on the waiting list, and you can assign a participant (who is on the waiting list) to another session. This will automatically remove the participant from the waiting list. You can also easily gain insight into the participants on waiting lists for various internal events through the Reports section. You can find this by going to LMS > Reporting  > Event reports  > Attendee and Waiting Lists.
