In the LMS, you can easily add a video to a learning intervention via an external link, such as a Vimeo link. When using this option, it’s important to make sure the video’s privacy settings are configured correctly so the video works properly within the training.
Configuring Privacy Settings on Vimeo
Follow these steps to correctly configure your Vimeo video:
Go to the video on Vimeo.
In the menu on the right, click Privacy.
Under Who can watch?, select Unlisted.
This ensures the video is only accessible to people with the link and is not publicly visible on Vimeo.Go to Where can the video be embedded? and select Specific domains.
Add the domain of your academy, for example:
youracademy.studytube.nl
This ensures the video can only be played within the Studytube learning environment and prevents it from being shared or viewed elsewhere.
