How does the ‘I’m interested’ button for events work?

Modified on Thu, 14 Nov at 12:46 PM

If an employee wants to register for an internal event, it may happen that no future sessions are scheduled or that the planned sessions are fully booked. In this case, you can choose to give employees the option to express their interest in the event. You can find the registration settings under the 'Information' header on the overview page. The interest option is one of these. You can indicate whether you want to offer the option under 'I’m interested'.

Users can then indicate their interest in an event during registration. They also have the option to add a note. Users can also undo any of this.

The participants overview of the event shows the people that are interested, possibly with a note. You can perform a number of actions per interested person. In the column on the right, you can click the 'Interested' option to filter participants with an 'interested' status. For each interested participant, you can perform a number of actions. From this overview, it is possible to send an email and you can send an invitation for the same event or another learning item.

Reporting

Do you want to easily keep track of which events employees are interested in? You can view this easily in the reporting dashboard. In the LMS, go to the "Reporting" section. Click on "Events Report" and then on "Interests and Cancellations." Here, you will find the "Interest per Event" widget. At a glance, you can see which events employees have clicked "interested" for. Click on the relevant event in the widget to view an overview of the employees who are interested in the event. You can also download the overview and the list of participants.
